Lucas Brar will reveal his tips and tricks for arranging pieces of music in the workshop. The course is aimed at guitarists who have already discovered the world of arranging or would like to discover it.
Lucas Brar completed his master's degree in classical guitar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich in 2013. At the time, his professor Franz Halasz described him as one of the most promising young up-and-coming guitarists. As a songwriter and producer, Brar does not fit the cliché of the classical guitarist at all. Instead, he unleashes his creative and educational potential with overwhelming success in YouTube videos and on Instagram. Without exaggerating, he can be described as a "star of the internet", as his channel has over 750,000 subscribers and he reaches millions of people around the world with his outstanding arrangements of music of every genre for the classical guitar. With "Eternity's Sunrise" he landed a top ten hit for several weeks in Sweden.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Music awarded Lucas Brar a prestigious scholarship, the Rosenborg-Gehrmans Scholarship, for his poetic and technically polished playing at the highest level.
His musical qualities are therefore beyond any doubt, but Lucas Brar also has great cabaret potential and plenty of (self-)irony.
