Marie Sans and Alice Letort won the 1st prize at the 2nd international ligita competition "Guitar Plus 1" in 2023. The French duo met in 2018 while studying in Basel with Pablo Márquez. With their shared passion for romantic chamber music, they expanded their duo repertoire under the expert guidance of Peter Croton. The duo plays on historical guitars by François Roudhloff, which have an enchantingly delicate and deep sound and authentically bring the music of the 19th century from the salons of Paris, Vienna and London to life.
Their programs are convincing with a wide range of moods from dreamy and light to theatrical or sparkling, delighting music lovers and experts alike. In 2022, Marie and Alice published two collections of their transcriptions with the publisher L'Empreinte Mélodique and recorded their first album.
The Odelia duo performs in France and Switzerland. They have received invitations to the Festival Les Fieffés Musiciens, the Festival International de Guitare de Lambesc, the Grand Est'ival de Guitare de Strasbourg, the Rencontres Guitare et Patrimoine en Ardennes, the Festival de Guitare de Puy-l'Evêque and others.
