Takeo Sato

Takeo Sato, regular guest soloist and lecturer at international music festivals and concert series, has won numerous national and international competitions and the special prize of the Saarland Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Germany. He was educated at the music academies of Saarbrücken, Augsburg and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. 

His activities include participation in TV and radio productions, chamber music, orchestra and opera projects as well as publications of his own arrangements (Verlag Chanterelle). He was supported by the association "Yehudi Menuhin - Live Music Now" and is Brand Ambassador for Hannabach Strings, Hercules Stands and Hughes&Kettner.  

Takeo Sato is Professor of Guitar at the Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium Feldkirch and Guitar Lecturer at the Leopold Mozart Center for Music at the University of Augsburg. He is the founder and organizer of the Augsburg International Guitar Festival.
